" an organised religion that teaches that killing one's fellow human beings is a bad thing is then telling its followers that to do so when those you are killing what are said to be your country's enemy - is just loyally doing your duty."

Uh-huh. Hypocrisy. Now, consider this:

An organised secular government and legal system that teaches that killing one's fellow human beings is a bad thing is then telling its citizens that to do so when those you are killing what are said to be your country's enemy - is just loyally doing your duty.

Same problem exactly! Sans religion.

You see, religion is not the problem. Lack of religion is not the problem. It is convenient hypocrisy and doubletalk that is the problem, whether it is coming out of the mouths of atheists OR religious people.

And there is NO religion out there, Shambles, that has made a conscious decision ahead of time to "try to confuse" you! LOL! Look, my friend, they would be trying to confuse you if they didn't believe they were right...but they DO believe they are right, so they are not consciously trying to confuse you at all...they're trying to inform you of what they actually think is the truth.

It's people who advertise in the broadcast media every day who are trying to confuse you...they KNOW perfectly well what they are doing...selling product by misleading people and pandering to their most basic insecurities and emotional weaknesses.
