As some of you may know, I'm homeschooling my 16-yr-old stepson. Right now, we're covering the 1950's in American History, and Josh thinks this period is "boring." I thought the Glencoe American History text did a great job of telling the story of Joe McCarthy and Aleger Hiss and the Rosenbergs, but Josh isn't impressed,.
Can anybody suggest movies about this period that will make it more interesting for Josh? I'm especially interested in movies about blacklisting. The best we've seen so far was Jim Carrey in The Majestic.
