On 2/17/1845 Mary Ann Wyatt was killed by her husband of one week, Henry Green.
Seems he preferred his old girlfriend after all:
My wife, she felt quite ill one night and begged me to get some pills;
I went and got some opium and made that into pills.
I then gave her just three of them, and told her they were right,
And surely thought that she would die upon that very night.
