Dearest Fibulamatic, under the Registration of Airline Businesses act (within the confines of the European Harmonisation of Air Traffic Regulations 2003 and 2004), airlines now pay a surcharge based upon how many vowels there are in their name or "Trading Style", as they call it - as a proportion of the total number of letters in the name. Aer Arrann gets a right caning for over-using the letter A and a for using a whopping 4 vowels out of 9 letters. You don't have to count the space(s) since the 2004 amendment in case you were going to ask. Unfortunately, these charges have to be passed on to the consumer.

I am always happy to help.
