After four years of near unemployment, you need to take a deep breath, relax, and try to see what is wrong.
Your reaction to DB's advise may be a clue to what is happening in your interviews. An angry, defensive response to a perfectly normal bit of sympathy and sharing.

Speak with the doctor prescribing your anti-depressants. Have him refer you for a complete evaluation. LISTEN with an open mind. Katlaughing is right - you may qualify for SS benefits based on your depression.
