Dark cold gloomy day here in Texas. Perfect crock pot weather! Putter around the house all day smelling something simmering away. What will it be?

Little Hawk, do you only make plain rice in the rice maker, or can you make seasoned rice and rice with other stuff (chunks of meat, veggies, etc) in it also? I've never even looked inside one to see what they look like. How does it operate?
