I don't know if this one has been tried but I suggested it in the help forum to somebody and it appeared to work. Make sure you are logged out and then go to membership. Near the top, it says something like "If you are already a member but your details don't appear, click here."

Follow that link and you will be prompted for your user name. Supply that and hit submit and you should be prompted for your password. With any luck when you supply that, you will be re-instated.
