Mick, I agree that whatever comes to your heart to sing will be right, but may I suggest that you sing to her, now, some of the songs you are considering. Or think about some of the music you have shared with her in the past. I realize that this may seem slightly off-topic, but I had the extraordinary gift of an amazing conversation with my grandfather at the end of his life, triggered by a song I felt the need to sing to him. It certainly cannot hurt to let her know, through these songs, what she means to her family, and her responses, even if slight, may help you in your decision.
