Hi Ali,
having played 'live' on the show last night with m'fiddle player Anne (we had a great evening, thanks!) I was very shocked to hear of the shadow of doubt cast over the future of 'Sounds of Folk' on GMR.

Your programme is a wonderful beacon for our genre of music in that region and it would be catastrophic should it disappear (as was sadly the case over here in Yorkshire/Humberside not so long ago when dear Henry Ayrton's Folk programme was axed).

I sincerely hope the programme gets a stay of execution and continues from strength to strength.
