Hee hee, Azizi is right those sort of remarks are wrong, and reasons should be given as to why the requested action is required. What should NOT happen thereafter is for that action still to remain undone.
I also agree that joining the army voluntarily or via conscription is not the answer to any question I ever heard. However the principle of being of service is one to be encouraged, and a spell of learning how to live with other people in harmony, and learning about those people and how they get by in life, would not go amiss in todays insular society.
