Out of deferrence to your opinion I have just double checked the sleeve notes for Kate's (excellent) interpretation of "Sexual Healing." she makes no mention of Davey Spillane. This being the case we must conclude that you are wrong or she is misremembering.
Their are those who would maintain that Kate's notes are good enough for 95% of the population & therefore should be good enough for you
but what the hell do they know?
I agree with you on the greatness of Kate's music.Like so much else though the gaps in your knowledge base undermine any attempt you make to sound authoritive.
