The Clancy Brothers sang a children's song with that chorus which included the following two verses:

When I was young I had no sense,
I bought a fiddle for eighteen pence.

Was "Over the Hills and Very Far Away"

My Aunt Jane she called me in;
She gave me tea out of her wee tin,
Half a bag of sugar on the top
