I've rearranged the furniture from time to time all through my life, don't know why but it always seemed right at the time.

When I lived with my parents my mother didn't understand it, and my father didn't notice it. As I have lived alone since then it doesn't matter to anyone but me.

I wouldn't say it was compulsive, though, but then neither am I a woman.
