She said when she was a kid, her mother moved them around a lot. Six months in one place was a long time. And the old lady always (and still does) moved the furniture around in every room several times a month. Must have been a gypsy in the family tree somewhere in her past...

Anyway, my gf says she had enough fiddling things around that way in her past and now she craves stability. The furniture stays put.
