    My experience has been completely opposite of what you just posted! Women KNOW what their bill will be as most of us have it budgeted out long before we ever got to the store. Perhaps that deer in the headlight look is because something got rung up incorrectly, hmm? I can only speak for myself here, but I have the check made out and the check register all ready made out...all I need is the total before I ever get the cashier. My stuff is also on the belt in order...heavy stuff first (goes in the cart first...dog food, cat food, water, laundry detergent, canned goods, etc.), produce and crushables last. I have NEVER seen a man do that...EVER.
