Talking of Gandhi, for those who haven't heard this one, Gandhi was asked, on a trip to Europe, what he thought of Western civilization.

His immortal reply,"I think it's a very good idea."




Descartes walked into a bar, had a drink. (Hang on,there's more)

The barman asked if he wanted another.

Descartes replied, "I don't think......." and disappeared completely.





A friend of mine was in a group discussing the height of luxury.

One said,"The height of luxury is lying out on a sofa under an Italian night sky while a maiden peels me grapes."

Some, after a pause , replied,"Oh.   I didn't know grapes had skins."
