The current songwriting thread has got me thinking....There are a lot of songwriters who frequent this site, and many more folks who write eloquently, but whose words have not yet found their way to a melody. There used to be a Songwriting Challenge thread which would pop up from time to time. It challenged, inspired and got those creative juices flowing! Some great stuff came out of those threads, which were often inspired by a current news event. What are some topics you're writing about these days? Or, what do you think there ought to be a song about? Are you writing these days? Or has the muse been on vacation? Perhaps we can get those creative juices flowing again.
