Michael - there was a book I think it was "the clam plate orgy" which included pictures showing that advertising for many things, including for Scotch, had subtly had pictures of writhing naked orgiastic figures cleverly added so that if you looked at it just the right way, your subconscious would reveal them. This was long before the abilty to do such things on computers existed, at least affordably on PCs.
