I have sometimes felt like doing something more with my web space but have avoided it for the reasons given by Jim. Also, in Wales, there is a Website (folkwales.org) that makes a pretty good attempt at trying to cover the whole country in terms of folk music venues and other folk events. I consider it far more constructive for me to try to keep Mick Tems up to date with what is happening in my corner of the country (he is in the South somewhere and I am in the North West) to help him keep my area accurate than it would be to start my own list.

Maybe one day, I will think of something useful to put up there (maybe a collection of Welsh folk dance tunes as they seem to be hard to find) but in the meanwhile, I mainly use my web space to provide links to make binary files available to places like Mudcat and newsgroups.
