Thread Name: Lyr Req: Midnight Moonlight (Peter Rowan)
Subject: Lyr/Chords Add: MIDNIGHT MOONLIGHT (Peter Rowan)
Here are the chords: Moonlight, Midnight
  G D

If you ever feel lonesome when you're down in San Antone

Am D C

Beg, steal or borrow two nickels or a dime to call me on

D

the phone

G D

I'll meet you at Alamo Mission, where we can say our prayers

Am D G D

The Holy Ghost and the Virgin Mother will heal us as we

C

kneel there

F C F C

In the moonlight, in the midnight,

F C G

in the moonlight, midnight, moonlight

If you ever feel sorrow for the deeds you have done

With no hope for tomorrow in the setting of the sun

And the ocean is howling for the things that might have been

And that last good morning sunrise will be the brightest you've ever seen

In the moonlight, in the midnight, in the moonlight, midnight, moonlight.

In the third part (instrumental part) it bounces between a Bb and G for eight beats apiece. I'm not totally sure of the timing of chords with the words, but the chords should be right. Also the intro and pauses between verses etc just hang on a G
