At most sporting events I can be bothered to watch (not many!) when our National Dirge (sorry, "anthem") 'God Save the Queen' is sung, the English team mostle seem to hum the tune, and look vaguely embarrassed at not being able to remember the words.
Jeez, but it's the most boring tune ever (apologies to any Lichtensteiners on the board!).
Why we can't have something rousing or stirring, like "Jerusalem"?
I'd even prefer "The Court of King Caractacus" - at least I can remember the words!
