Well, in this case (and that of my brothers) we've pretty much given up making our own explosives and incendiaries and fireworks and war gases. So I wouldn't quite say that our "toys" have gotten more destructive as we've gotten older. More expensive, well, yes, probably. But I still don't have a little red sports car with a trophy wife -- I'm still getting along with my Honda Civic and the same ol' wife I've had for the last 33 years (come October).
