Thread Name: BS: Being Canuck on St. Joseph's Day
Subject: RE: BS: Being Canuck on St. Joseph's Day
Aha!!

I thought St. Hubert's was another Catholic saint and maybe he is, but I took bobad's post literally when he wrote

"I thought it was St.Hubert, or is he the patron saint of chickens?"

-snip-

How was I to know this was an in joke.

But I began to see the light as a result of Bruce's post [that sounds better than Peace's post] about his childhood memory. I said to myself "Self, Bruce's last post sure sounds like ordering some Kentucky Fried Chicken [except where I come from at least, we can't "call to order" from Colonel Sanders, we have to order in person and eat it there or take it out].

So I said to myself, "Self, it's time to let the fingers do the walking". So I called up my friend Googles, and asked him {"her"? "it"?} "What is St. Huberts?" And I find out that St Huberts is the name of a restaurant chain that specializes in chicken...

So I just wanna let you know that I'm hip to that in joke. Better late than never. Ya got any more Canukian references that us Unitedstaters won't have a clue what they mean? Bring'em on!

But on second thought, our fearless leader said those fated words and the results weren't that good...so maybe I should say "Bring'em on, pretty please."
