I have heard that Chipotle is owned by McDonald's. I can't tell you exactly where I heard it. I believe that McDonald's also owns (or at least used to own) the Boston Market chain.

Doesn't make any difference to me if Chipotle *is* owned by McDonald's - my whole family likes the food.
