I saw an article in the paper today about propertyroom.com. This is a business started by a former police detective, and it auctions off lost and stolen equipment from police departments around the country.

Out of curiosity, I searched for guitars. Would you like to assemble a red guitar or a green one? Or you could buy an electric guitar or maybe an amp.

It is interesting (though not surprising) to note that lost/stolen electric guitars far outnumber acoustics.

They are offering a Hohner in good condition, starting at $60. A friend of mines loves his Hohner. This could be a good deal.
