when i purchased a musical instrument from Sweden,
i used an international money exchange program
i did the transaction at my local bank teller
travelex was the name of the company. I chose
to have them send me a check which i then sent to
the seller. they first wanted to send it to the
bank, and i would have to come back there in a
couple days to pick it up. I convinced them to
send it to me as i am nearly an hour from the
bank in town.

this was one way to conduct international business.
