Here's the most recent email I have from the James Craig shanty gang in Sydney.
Bottom line is, they got together last night, and won't again until May, but at least
you'll have some contact numbers.

Subject: Shanty Singalong on James Craig at 7.30pm on Wednesday March 22nd

The Shanty singalong sessions will get off to a rollicking start this year -
Sydney's own traditional Shanty group - the Roaring Forties - have agreed to
lead the next session !

The following session may not be until May, because the fourth Wednesday in
April is the day after Anzac Day and St Albans Folk Festival. A week earlier
is too close to Easter and the National Folk festival and a week later is
the day before North by Northwest ! ! !

PARKING is now only available in front of the National Maritime Museum and
has been cleared with their management. Turn into the driveway opposite the
big white building and then turn immediately left - press the button on the
Intercom at the right of the gate and tell you are there for the Shanty
Session on the James Craig.

James Craig Shanty Sessions are held on the 4th Wednesday of the month. If
you have any ideas for future sessions please let us know.
