Ah, I'm thinking the explosive rum cake (alas, most of the rum will have baked off, though maybe not all of the alcohol in the rum in the glaze) may be better set off by the SPARKLERS we didn't use New Year's Eve.

Cake is baked -- it soaks up glaze tomorrow morning. Maybe we should bring some more rum as the proper tipple with the cake.
