Easter is about the resurrection of life everlasting. The death of winter followed by the new life of Spring. The Christian version is just a way of incorporating religious festivals that were much older than Christianity. New seasons are always celebrated. Doesn't matter if you symbolize it with the cross or the Easter Bunny. It all means the same thing. Spring is here!
