I believe you are experienced drivers for alternative sides of the road but Sydney is still a challenging experience. We favored walking, light rail, buses, and sharing cars driven by natives. For trips into the country (we never reached the outback) we rented cars, but I'll never forget when we rented a car for the first time at Sydney's International Airport, expecting to circle the city and head to the Blue Mountains, only to find outselves channeled back into deepest darkest Sydney...What a wonderful experience! My knuckles still ache! Judy's voice has never regained its even tenor... But we survived. Next time we take the train to the Blue Mountains and rent a car once we get there.

Glad to hear that Bad Manors is still doing its thing.

Do take the habour ferry to Manly, a lovely cruise though the harbour.
