Hello Jeanie. I'd completely forgotten 'white rabbits' & the 'punch & a kick' response....what fun!! I wonder if it is just an 'Essex thing'?
      Gnomad, it is a playground saying, as I remember from my childhood, but my wife & I still say it on the first day of every month, not just April!
