All over hockey-fan-dom, there is frantic prognostication about which teams will make the playoffs. Clipboards everywhere are tracking the permutations: "If my team does this and this and this, and the other teams do this and this and this.... we can still make the playoffs!"
I think it would be far more Mudcatlike to simply predict which of our teams are definitely NOT going to be in the playoffs.
I'll start:
NOT IN THE 2006 PLAYOFFS: Chicago Blackhawks Pittsburgh Penguins
What are the dates for each round, anyhow? I can't seem to find any hype yet.
