Thanks for the link, AndyG. I remember one night at London's 100 club in the middle of an Acker Bilk set when two men with a sack came on stage and joined in with various instruments out of the sack. Acker, unfazed, just said "My God it's the Alberts" and let them carry on until they finished the number packed away their instruments and left!
I also saw the Temperance Seven there in various incarnations in the '70s, including Will Hastie playing two tunes simultaneously on two penny whistles!
