Way back when...we HAD to start thread number 2, 3,4, etc. of any popular subject, after about 100 posts, as they just got too big for the MUdcat servers to load quickly and easily. THEN, Max tuned things up a bit and we thought we'd died and gone to heaven having threads which could go on and on without making a bunch of links and new threads number consecutively etc.
There should be NO limit on the music threads. Some of those have lead to incredible discussions/education/etc. As to the others, someone will cry censorship or bitch about not getting to have their say, etc. and then, next thing ya know, they'll go off and start a buncha little threads bitching and pissing and moaning like whiney-titty-babies and we'll be back right where we started!
