Just learned thro' 'net perusal of Scottish newspapers that the upcoming guest atIrvine Folk Club [venue, the Golf Hotel]is an old favourite, Johnny Silvo. [Tam the Man frae Saltcoasts, ya lucky bum!],As an "afterthought" it was reported that the local "Marymass" festival 22-29 August brings Johnny, Eric Bogle, Hans Theesink and a fair flock of supporting acts. Now I know when I fly to Scotland this year!
