Talked to a few people in the Goilin last night. Looks like Eddie was the only one known to sing it - and nobody can recall what tune he used, not to mention where it came from. He hasn't been involved in the club for a good few years now.

I meet Eddie occasionally, when in Dublin, and will ask him about it next time.
