frogprince...I have a leatherbound copy of "Plain Facts" by Dr. Kellog...of the cereal fame. Old "Tie their hands Kellog" as he was known. He advocated spying on kids to be sure they did not indulge in "solitary vice" and various ways to distract, scare or punish them.....and if all methods failed, perhaps tying their hands to the bedpost.

For adults, lukewarm Sitz baths...(warmer might 'excite' the problem areas!)
