Well, we've been seeing quite a bit of Al and Barbara. Some of the goings on have been mentioned in this thread and this thread.

Friday night's BBQ went off smoothly, with much enthusiastic song-swapping and camaraderie. Food and drink went down well, and the weather was perfect!

Today's concert with El Greko and Cloudstreet was excellent - then we moved on to Margaret Walters place for Jerry Epstein, the Roaring Forties and more sessioning. I get the impression they are having a pretty good time.

Tomorrow I'm meeting them for breakfast at Badde Manors, and then in a few days it's the National - the usual mad social whirl for around these parts :-)
