Hey all:

As Minnesota has seen its first 70 degree temps since last fall and the grass begins its come back and the buds on the trees begin to bloom, along with the arrivials of Robins, herions, and swans.

Your recent entrys of the flowers and todays FACT OF THE DAY:

EDIBLE FLOWERS:

Which flowers are edible? Among the most common edible flowers are peonies, pansies, carnations, chamimile, chrysanthemums, dandelions, daylilies, gardenias, geraniums, gladioli, lavender, lilies, nasturtiums, priroses, roses, squash blossoms, sweet violets, pot marigolds, and yucca blossoms.

Thought this maybe of interest to some.. I know for a fact that dandelions make some of the best homemade wine if you got the patience to pick off pounds of the pedals. As Rose hips make a very tasty tea, or alters the flavor of regular tea with blending rose hips with it.

Today looks like another above 70 degree day and will go out and attempt to hook afew crappies for the deep fryer. For there still is ice on one side of the lakes and cold water / ("black ice") makes for excellant panfishing. The only snow thats left is in the shady spots or where they have piled it all winter long. Not a cloud in the sky.

I hope its at least 1/2 as nice where your all at. Have a great day.
ENJOY!!!
