I know there are a couple of you, probably more. Here in the US we have "Yankee Magazine" in which one may post a query about their "roots." At least one used to be able to; I haven't seen one lately.
Anyway, the amount of places to look for genealogy stuff relating to Nova Scotia, online, is overwhelming. I have searched and searched without much luck, for my great-greatgrandmother, Hannah (Gordon)Crawford. All I have to go on is just her name and that she married my gggranddad, William Crawford. Unfortunately, my ggranddad's death certificate doesn't say where she or William were born except "Canada."
My question for you is, is there one wide-reaching publication in which one might post such a query, either for pay or free? I plan to keep looking, regardless, but I'd really like to connect with some people there who might be into the same kind of research and know of more resources or even run into a distant cousins. (From the looks of the phone listings there are plenty of Gordons and Crawfords!)
Thanks a bunch!
katPS: Forgot to say I'd found THIS SITE, but there are so many and it's hard to tell which ones might be likely!
