So I just got myself a good MP3 encoder... and I'm giving thought to recording some of my own musical ramblings... All I have at this point however is the cruddy little mic that came with the 'puter... that gooseneck thing...

Any advice, short of getting a mixing board and plugging it in tothe beast?
