Sonnet 13/01/06                            MXLII

Is there a reason that I should not care
About the muse who fills my dreams and heart?
Must I forget all that thoughts of her share,
And give up all hope to more verses start?
Is there a reason that I should not tell
How much of soul remains, even without
Her words, her smile, or hope, under her spell?
How can I ignore one dreams are about?
Is there a reason that I should not plead
For word how she is, and what dreams have told?
She matters more than the sum of my need:
I want happiness more than to her hold.
Shall I one further reason of her seek?
Might I know if I might of future speak?
