Sorry to hear about this Dave. As a barmaid in the 70's and more recently having worked occcasionally in my son's pub I know how aggressive some idiots can get when drunk. My son, luckily, is tall and well built and was able to deal with this type of guy when they came in demanding more booze. They just seem to lose all sense after a few bevies and it takes nothing for them to become violent.
I was interested to see that Clinton is behaving, on this thread, in exactly the same way as the drunk that you are talking about. Out of the blue he attacks without any reason, and I do consider that his first post to this thread was an attack. He later states '"people acting aggressively for no apparant(sic.) reason before"
There are always reasons....'. Would we be interested to know what his reasons for this unpleasantness were?
I do remember, a while ago, Clinton telling us all about the motor accident in which he was involved. As I recall nobody suggested that his version of the event was not to be taken at face value. I do remember that there was a lot of sympathy shown to him at the time by, possibly, a more charitable group of 'Catters.
