Tom is an amazing man. Back in the 70's when you'd find a bunch of folkies trading one liners (usually at two or three in the morning at the Barbarossa), Tom would wait until evreybody had had thier say a couple of times and then land everyone with a zinger that would shut everybody down. He doesn't say a lot, but when he does you know it's important.
   And while we're listing his songs let us not forget"McBride Argyle Station Furnished Rooms" and "These Cowboys" ( sometimes called Cowboys Born Out Of Thier Time). Those are two of the sadest and most moving song that I have ever heard.
