Hope these instructions help for getting you in to the chat

Click on SERVICES near the bottom of your ICQ box.
Choose (AL) "ICQ Active list".
Go to "Find/Add an Active ICQ list".
The ICQ ActiveList Search Wizard box pops up (hopefully)
In the "Search by List ID" cut and paste (control-c for cut; control-v for paste) the number of the Mudchat list (63040520).
Click "next"
It should show the Mudchat title in the box
Click on "Add List" and MudChat should appear on your list.
Clicking on MudChat in your list should give you an option to "Join Chat Room" - go there.
