a problem for those who are insulted, stalked and mocked by anonymous 'someones' whether sneaky members or trolls who only come here BECAUSE they can get by with not using a name.

and a problem for management who would rather that stuff like that not happen, and who hate to spend so much time dealing with it.

It is NOT nice to be obnoxious...RT or VT...but it especially rude to hide behind a screen to do it.

And don't give me that BS about "you don't have to read it"...the real point is, "you don't have to write it...and if you do, on a privately run site, management reserves the right to edit or delete stuff deemed objectionable....even if their definition of objectionable is narrower than yours!"
That is how it works...and the large majority of members have no problem with that.
