Arse-about-face as usual. It is ALREADY a private club, but where guests are tolerated.

Where has Max stated anything like this? The public are still invited to contribute are they not?

It is NOT "our" forum - it's Max's.

Well, I have to agree with Shambles that Max seems to convey the idea that this is "our" forum. However, it also seems quite clear that very few of us want "our" forum to be taken over by those who would wish to make it a place of combat and chaos.

And no I (and others) do not what to see it taken over by a few posters who may not want this - but by there actions have succeeded in doing just that.

Someone ALREADY has control over what we choose to post, and exercises that control pretty lightly. If YOU cannot accept THAT then maybe YOU should go away and form your own forum.

When those whose best efforts - by their own admission have failed to impose their required peace - it is they who should be forming their own private club and leaving our forum to all those who Max opened it for and who do need to be constantly changing it to better suit our requirements.

Changes which now involve a certain few posters minding everyone elses's business and encouraging others to do the same by setting this example.
