Rapaire, libraries aren't what they used to be. I spend as much time promoting events and designing web pages and putting out various Internet related fires as I do simply sitting and writing about library stuff like books and where we're moving them to store the ones that aren't used so much any more but we still want to keep.

I think "25-year-old" and "servers" together are an oxymoron. There weren't servers 25 years ago. There wasn't an Internet 25 years ago. Twenty-five years ago I was 26 and hadn't a thought of owning anything more than my Olivetti portable typewriter.

There were Quarks, but we just didn't know about them. That's different.
