I'm being very literal here, not trolling for personal info. I've answered the phone once yesterday, and once today, for pollsters from some organization. They were very direct and to the point:
   "Hello, I'm ____ from ____?___ ; just a couple of questions. Did you vote for George W. Bush?"
   Personally, I just hung up the phone. Would you have felt like answering that question, out of the blue, to god-knows who, on the phone? How would you feel about it?
