I agree about Wiggle Wiggle, BB. Lay Lady Lay, however, has a certain rustic charm and warmth, given the fact that it was written in regards to and very much in the mood of his happy marriage with Sara at the time (1967 or '68).
Interestingly enough, though, Bob Dylan did not think it was a very good song and in his own words "begged and pleaded" for the record company NOT to release it as a single. They did and it was a hit.
